Sick baby

What a week it has become. It started out like any normal (if there is such a thing) week does, then on Monday night we decided to splurge and get ourselves a shed to store all of our yard equipment that is rusting from the rain and humidity - will post pictures of the shed at a later time. We were going to start putting it together on Tuesday afternoon, but a big storm came through and "rained on our parade". We were able to put some of the pieces together in the house. Wednesday Aaron woke up with the most horible sounding cough. I thought it would get better especially after a good, long nap that afternoon. Ron and a friend were able to get the walls up on the shed that afternoon, but it's been so hot that they decided to quit after a couple hours. When Aaron woke up from his nap he had developed a fever and the cough persisted. We decided to take him to the ER, but that meant missing church. I hate so much missing church, but especially on Wednesdays because Ron and I are in charge of the Cubbies in our Awana program. That's a whole other story in iself that I might get into more later. So, off to the hospital we go praying the whole way that it would go quickly and that it wouldn't be anything serious with Aaron. We got checked in after only a few minutes of waiting, but then waited for an hour and a half to get a chest X-ray for our little man. Aaron actually did pretty well waiting that long of a time too. We tried to keep him busy, but became increasingly difficult as time went by. After we finally got the X-ray done the doctor came and told us that he saw some streaking on one of the pictures. He said he can't gaurantee that it isn't pneumonia so he's going to treat it as such. We finally were able to get out of there and get some medicine for our sick little guy. The big problem is this holiday weekend. We have been planning for over a week now to go to Indiana to visit some friends we haven't seen in a couple years, but with a sick baby I'm not sure if that will happen now. I guess we'll see what happens. We're praying that this medicine will do what it needs to, but mostly that our Great Physician touches Aaron with His healing hands.
