Finally back

Grandma (my Mom) came to visit us last week, thus the blogging famine around here. We had a wonderful time the whole week. We were busy, but not too busy that time just flew by. It did go quickly and hated saying goodbye, but everybody had to get back to the daily grind. Here are some pictures of the happenings while she was here!

Thank you Nana and Papa for Aaron's Easter basket you gave him! As you can see, he REALLY liked it, especially the M&M's!!! I just love how he actually hesitates when he's picking them up, but decides he better eat one rather than put it back in the egg!

He was so excited to see a swingset in his back yard! He didn't know what to play on first! He's been enjoying it ever since then, except for when he was sick. I'm sure it will get LOTS of good play time this summer!

This was a couple weeks ago when it was REALLY nice out. I know we'll be spending A LOT of time outside playing on Aaron's swingset and in the water too! I think I might want to buy some stock in sunscreen though!

Aaron's BIG birthday present

He got a SWINGSET!!! He absolutely loves it, and so did everybody else at the party! I think he likes the slide the best. He's even gotten brave enough to go down head first! Thank you so very much again, Nana and Papa!!!!!

Aaron's Birthday Party

Sorry for the delay in posting these pictures. Aaron was sick all last week and am just trying
to get caught up now.
This was Aaron's birthday party we had a few days after his actual birthday. It was construction/Tonka party and so much fun to put together. First are the invitations I made.




Here are the party decorations.









The cupcakes, an ice cream cake, and Aaron's cake that was supposed to look like a traffic cone. Didn't really turn out as expected, but I guess live and learn!










Aaron eating his cake. Too big now to just dig in so he had to have a fork. Guess I'll know for next year!



He had more fun playing with the toys on the cake than actually eating the cake! Overall it was a great time with friends and family. Tune in to see the BIG present Aaron got for his birthday!!!

Aaron's Birthday Day

On Aaron's birthday we thought it would be fitting to go to the Naval Air Museum on base since Aaron just LOVES airplanes! He had a ball and was pretty overwhelmed seeing all those airplanes in there! He just kept running from one plane to the next saying "airpane". I think he must have said that word about a thousand times! He liked getting in them and trying to push the buttons, but he looked so small sitting in them! We'll have to try to go again when he gets a little bigger! What a great birthday he had!
