Nana and Papa came for a visit and spoiled Aaron rotten!!! We had a great time with them and are so thankful they were able to come and see us! They came for Aaron's birthday. I'll post those pictures later. Thank you Nana and Papa for EVERYTHING!!!

Mowing the lawn with Dad!
Today Ron had to mow down our weeds and Aaron,of course, thought he needed to help. Ron thought it would be a great early lesson in what the future holds! I thought it was so cute! But, by the third picture (if you look close), he wasn't digging the whole lawn mowing experience. I was actually surprised he lasted as long as he did, considering the fact that he is scared of the vacuum. Aaron thinks he's invincible when Dad's around!!!

Good to be home!
Well, the ladies retreat was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! There were some not so good parts throughout the weekend, but overall it was just great!
We got there Thursday night, driving through horrible rain part of the way, but praise the Lord He spared us from any of those horrible tornados. Everybody in my room was tired from the long day and ended up going to bed at 9:30. Took me FOREVER to get to sleep since my bed partner was not my husband. I had just fallen to sleep and then a little after 11:00 PM I see this blinking light in the room. Another lady in our room turns on the light and says, "It's the fire alarm. Grab your purse and let's get out of here!" Did I mention we were on the seventh floor? So we all piled out of bed and headed down the stares. There were a lot of people outside the hotel, but by the time we got to the entrance again they said that it was just a false alarm. So, standing there with my purse in my pajamas, glasses, and crazy hair someone in our group yells from across the room, "Smile Janelle!" and snapped a picture. They thought it was kind of funny, but I was not amused. We trudged back up to our room and I don't believe I slept the rest of the night because one of my roommates, actually all three of them, snored and I cannot stand snoring.
Friday was wonderful, in spite of the fact that I didn't get any sleep. The messages were great! They say that some speakers "step on your toes" with their messages, well ALL my ties AND my feet are CRUSHED!!! I was so convicted on so many accounts, but with God's help I am going to change!
Friday night didn't get any sleep either because the other ladies were sawing logs like lumberjacks!!! The Lord graciously gave me the strength, somehow, to make it through that day and we ended up getting home Saturday night at 10:00PM. I'm so thankful I was able to go and would do it over again, but I believe next time I'm taking some ear plugs!!! It's good to be home!!!!!!
