Last of Vacation Pictures, Finally!

I decided that with the busy Christmas season quickly approaching I had better get these pictures posted. There are a lot more, but I picked out the highlights and am going to call it good! In the last grouping we were in Omaha, NE visiting my brother and sister-in-law. We left there and drove across the state to Scottsbluff. We couldn't make it through the state without having some fun with some of the Nebraska football fan gear!

We got to see Ron's grandma and his uncle that we hadn't seen for quite some time.

Then we went to also saw Ron's Grandpa and Grandma Miller. They took us up on the Scottsbluff and got some great pictures!

We got to see Ron's Great Grandma Miller, which would be Aaron's Great Great Grandma! Isn't that neat! She's still got tons of spunk too!

After a couple wonderful days in Scottsbluff we went on to Cody, WY and saw Aaron's Grandma GG, my Grandma Gwynn. Had a great time with her too!

We got to go up on the mountain and see some AWESOME scenery we hadn't seen in a while. Here's a couple family pictures too.

We also got to take my Grandma Gwynn and my Mom to Yellowstone National Park which we all hadn't been to for years. Here's a picture we took on the way there.

While in the Park we got to see a very large Grizzly Bear just minding his own business. Isn't he pretty in a scary sort of way!

Here we are waiting to see Old Faithful. It had gotten pretty chilly by this time and we even saw a few snow flurries!
Here is the faithful geyser herself! I can't remember the last time I had seen it so it was fun to see God's wonderful, amazing creation again!
Aaron got to ride of the four wheeler with Grandma and thought that was pretty cool! He was definitely more interested in figuring out how to drive it than in getting his picture taken!

Here is Aaron and his two cousins Aly and Katie. They had a great time together and wish they could play together more often! Aren't they adorable!

We also got to see Grandma Kris for a short time. We missed seeing Grandmpa, but he was busy working.
We also got to see my Grandma Benson. Aaron had a great time playing with her! Was so good to see her again!

One of the reasons we took this trip is to celebrate Ron's 30th birhtday. An all-time favorite of his is Fried Ice Cream from this resteraunt in Cody. We went there especially to get one on his birthday. Don't tell him I put this picture on here. He'd probably not appreciate it very much! =) I think it's great! At least he can still act young! =) He! He! That's his sister there acting normal.
Here is Aaron's Nana and Papa. They enjoyed so much having us all there again and wish we could make it back there more often!

On our way back to Florida we decided to stop and see some sites that we hadn't seen for a LONG time. This is Devil's Tower.
We also got to see Mount Rushmore. Aaron calls it the mountain with the faces! We hadn't seen this since High School.

Here is Aaron being silly in our hotel room. He was waiting to go swimming and found his tie in the suitcase. I think it's an adorable picture!

We also got to stop and visit Chicago. We just had to eat one of their famous Chicago Deap Dish Pizzas! I can now tell you that there is a reason why they are famous! It was so YUMMY!!!! We had a hard time finding our way out of the city so that was pretty frustrating, but we eventually got there.

Overall we had an awesome vacation with many special times as a family. We're not sure when we'll get the chance to do it again so we had to make the most of it!
Hope you enjoyed our pictures. It's fun looking back on the memories!

Miller family,
I do stop by from time to time to see how things are going. Glad to here you are expecting another little one. Janelle, if Ron doesn't read this, tell him hi for me. How is your brother and Heidi doing?

Awesome! It looks like such fun. It's great to see a picture of your Grandma Benson: she looks well. You know, your Grandma and Grandpa Benson made such an impact on my life growing up--their faithfulness and sweet service in the church and school when we were teens...it's nice to be reminded of that. I remember taking art class from your Grandma and wood shop in your Grandpa's shed... he was so patient and helpful with me.

Also, I'm glad Ron got to go to La Comida for fried ice cream... you just can't find a Mexican restaurant around here that does it right, if they do it at all. :)
