June 30th was our 7 year anniversary. Sad to say, it wasn't a day full of flower bouquets and cards with sweet sentiments and romantic dinners staring at each other with love-filled eyes. It ended up being an event-filled day for sure. We decided to leave the kids with a friends so that we could go watch a movie together. We stopped by good ol' Mc D's to get some lunch before we dropped them off. We left them and neither one even realized we had gone. We were off to see our movie and it decided to rain cats and dogs on us! We made it there and ran inside as fast as we could. After the movie we were scheduled to close on our house, but I then realized I had left my wallet in the diaper bag, which has been doubling as my purse as well lately. So, we hurried back up to our friend's house to get my wallet and figured we might as well grab the kids then. We got there and grabbed them and were off again to get to the Title Company without being too late. Well, traffic lights were out periodically because of the rain so that made it even harder to hurry. About halfway down to the Title Company Aaron kept saying his tummy hurt. We were trying our best to calm him down and praying in the backs of our minds that if he did throw up that he could wait till we got there and stopped and outside of the car. NOPE. Good ol' Mc D's lunch had been resurrected, not so pleasantly. We did make it there half an hour late and Ron ran in and signed papers while I did my best to clean up the back seat and Aaron. When Ron was done we tag-teamed it and I ran in and signed papers while he finished the clean-up. We then went home and threw Aaron in a bath and since he seemed to be OK after all that we went out to dinner. After dinner we came home exhausted. As we sat on the couch together we smiled as we thought back on the crazy day and said to each other, "We make a pretty good team, don't we?!" So, even though it wasn't a day filled with romantic, sweet things it was a "good" day doing what we vowed to do 7 years ago - love each other "in sickness and in health". Happy Anniversary My Love! Maybe next year will be even better! =)

What's going on with us
Many people have asked what has been going on with us and if we have heard anything about our orders and where and when we are going to be moving. For those of you who don’t know already, Ron received different orders than he first had. The great part about these orders is that he will not be deploying any time soon!!! We are SUPER excited about that! The best way to explain what Ron will be doing is that he is going to be working with codes that requires him to have a top security clearance. I’m sure we’ll find out more of all that is involved in the next couple months when he goes to school. We are going to be moving to Camp Pendleton, CA which is about 30 minutes North of San Diego. We’re excited to go back out to California and see family out there we haven’t seen in four years and be somewhat closer to the rest of our family in Wyoming. We are sad to leave Pensacola, which we’ve grown to love these past four years. We’ve made many good friends here who will hopefully last a lifetime. We are planning on having our house packed up July 16th and leave leaving here on the 18th. We plan to get to CA somewhere around three or four days later. Those are the plans as of right now, but as many of you know, those can change at any moment. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we leave Pensacola, as we travel across the country, and as we find a place to live and settle down in Camp Pendleton. Also, our e-mail will be changing to ronandjanelle@gmail.com since our Cox account will be canceled. We will keep our cell phones until we get out there – Ron’s cell number is 850-384-1364 and mine is 850-384-2073. So, if you don’t hear from us in a month or so at least you’ll know what is going on! We’ll try to keep everyone updated as we can once we get to California!

PS - Don't worry, we're having movers come in and box up our house and transport it out there for us. PRAISE THE LORD!!! There is still plenty to do anyways.
